“This is not a Small Love”: Projector Poetry Strikes Again

Here’s the next set in my Projector Poetry series.

For this grouping, I tried to offer something new. I selected three random months’ Tweets–an online randomizer selected the year 2020–and entered each set into a different online AI voice generator. Original music previously produced or recorded accompanies two of the videos. While the algorithm created back in 2019 randomly extracts the line of verse each day, I tried to pull a line from each that best frames the poem. I think these lines also say a little something about the larger project and my own feelings about unpacking my library.

Each title whispers promises of exploration, emotion, and transformation, echoing the essence of the poetry reading series itself. As I share bits and pieces of my book collection, this arts-based experiment transcends the mere act of preservation: it is a journey of rediscovery and reinterpretation—an interplay between the tangible and the digital, where the soul of each poem resonates anew. I’ll let you judge what these reconfigured lines mean as remixed poems or what they say about poetry in general, about this project, or about my library.

. . .

“It was too much.” … “Praise the change.” … “This is not a small love.”
